snow training

this is why you could never drag me inside a gym to run. why would i want to miss this?

last night at the new turf field down the road from my place
about a foot of soft day old snow (great resistance!)
the opportunity for mostly fresh tracks
giving some otherwise neglected muscles a chance to come out and play
(those are the ones i am most aware of today! ;))

running in the snow might just be my new favourite.
i was amazed at how light and agile i felt once i hit the clear pavement again!

    • When all was said and done, no shivers were involved and all appendages still showed signs of feeling. All that said, a hot bath was certainly the first order of business once I got home.
